CLIMATE
Tempered by the beneficial influence of the estuary as it helps to moderate climatic excesses. The limestone cliffs that border and overhang the Gironde and the Garonne, limit the entry of rain on the area of our appellation.
Our hillsides facing south and west are the guarantee of a very good sunshine.
SOIL
The deep and thin clay-gravel soil favors rooting, a factor of regularity and quality.
All fertilizer applications are reasoned and adapted to each parcel following soil and petiole analyses. Thus the amendments remain moderate and are only used to correct possible imbalances in the soil.
GRAPES
All our vines are planted on rootstocks that are not very vigorous and adapted to the micro-terroirs on which they are planted, as well as to the grape varieties used.
For a greater complexity and to respect our typicity, our wines are systematically made of a blend of different grape varieties.

Le soufre est un des antioxydants du vin, il y en a naturellement dans le raisin. Ne pas en ajouter, nous oblige à toujours contrôler l’atmosphère autour du jus de raisin puis du vin.
